Hahaha, just how are you going to thank me for taking this genius picture? (I swear their lips were 5cm apart but I made it look 5mm apart, or not at all :D)

Anyway, Brainless Boy had to set the camera's photo quality to High, so each photo is a large file. That means it takes a loooooong time to upload just ONE photo. Tsk, tsk. Plus high quality photographs means spotting zits more easily!

The few of us who cycled

were the same few who stayed-over..

I'll be haunted for life for waking the ACSI guys (minus Brainless Boy) up with my Bangladesh version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars at 6am. Hahahahahahaha! And later waking Brainless Boy (who was very violent when Wenhan tried to wake him up for me) with my whining. See, i'm informidable. Even KT/Wenhan didnt dare (and couldnt as well) wake Brainless Boy up.

Candice's necklace is gorgeous, I swear. But I digress.

We cycled alot (like over-rented by 40mins? rental was for 2hrs). Until my butt ached, until Wenhan taught that he was too fast for his bike (the chain came off and SuperLynette fixed it), until Danielle flew off her bike & hurt her hand/felt giddy, until my knee-cap started cracking with every pedal, until everyone was hungry, did we stop.

Unglam! I was damn scared I would fall over \:

CLASS CHALET UPDATE!

HI EVERYONE!

ok i shall update everyone on the details of wed's class gathering!

how exciting huh.

ANYWAY, after so desperately trying to call COSTA SANDS RESORT (EAST COAST) what must have been millions of times, someone finally answered their long-forsaken telephone, and informed me that it's gonna cost us $125 for a single room, and $135 for a double room. the receptionist also said that we shouldnt have to book, cos it's a weekday, and there are lots of rooms available. the catch is, we need someone to be 18 yrs old to book the room for us.

we have two choices: either someone hauls a parent or an older sibling down to east coast park, or we get jeff to do it.

problem is, jeff has canoe chalet then, and i haven't asked him where it is held yet. and if it's the same place as ours, then we can get him to check in for us. otherwise, we need someone to get a parent down. or one of our seniors.

there's a piece of gd news! we'll use ALL the money from our class fund to cover this. there's about $40 - $60 in there (jifu will confirm the amount by sunday). then we'll split the rest equally.

this is wad we will do on wed. WE WILL MEET. then we will do wdvr. play frisbee. cycle. anything. if we get a chalet, we can have a movie marathon, play games (card, board, or any random game we think up of) and even bbq.

but of course, we need to make the numbers first. EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO JOIN. especially since YOUR contribution to the class fund is going to be utilised as such.

so far, me (kelvin chen), hariz, candice, kelvin tay, grace, arianne, jessie & jifu will be going. tt's 8 of us. but grace, arianne & jessie may not stay over.

jeff & wailoon said they cant make it. laura, hk and pris are overseas. lynette & danielle said they'll confirm later.

and i havent asked wenhan, james, joshua, jared, elaine & natania.

can u guys help me ask them if u see them pls?

Ok ppl we're having our next class gathering on mon, dec 4 or wed, dec 6.

okay i shall tell you all about it! the girls decided to just have a little time together to DYE archie's hair, bake cookies and cake, watch a movie, gamble on our lifes and JUST CHILL OUTT!! yes we did. AND BOY DID WE HAVE A GREAT TIME!

oh welcome the queen cause i arrived pretty late at 1.40pm when we were supposed to have met up at 12noon! but low and behold! JESSIE WAS LATER THAN ME! haha! if i was a guy i definately WONT HAVE the patience to wait for jessie! haha!

and so we went on as planned to start baking goodies goodies. jessie ALMOST SINGLE HANDEDLY and archie helped her tackled the cake mix and elaine and lynette tackled the cookies. and me? what was i doing? HMMMM... TAKING THE PICTURES OF COURSE! but elaine sort of gave up half way cause the butter wasn’t softened enough and we ended up crushing the chocolate chip pieces into dust!. no more melt in your mouth chocolate chips. =((

and NOTHING could stop giant lynette from getting her FINGERS ALL MESSED UP WITH THE COOKIE DOUGH! WHOOTT! And both candy and lyn went a little crazy attempting to lick off the cookie dough from her fingers and the bowl. Hoho!.

And HAHA guys.. I don’t mind giving you guys a challenge and bake a cake for mrs tan’s baby shower! HOHO! Its going to be so exciting. So theres the process of the chocolate cake. Powderà plus egg-à soften lump of brown gooemà into the ovenà MOUNT FUJIà plus ice creamà INTO MY TUMMY! Hohoho! =D

And we watched a movie called “yours mine ours” and we gambled. Its quite fun cause I learnt 2 NEW GAMES according to lynette’s version of bluff. HAHH I WON IN THE END. And it was left to Elaine and lynette to battle it out to the end.

We found out that jessie’s love life was VERY COMLPICATED, as predicted by the poker cards.. or so if you can trust lynette’ judge. RAWRRR.

And then I went into a frenzy of ‘AUTO SELF TIMER MODE” with my camera and I caught some really hmmm HILARIUS PHOTOS! Hoho! FEAST YOUR EYES BIMBS. =DD <33 TIL THE NEXT CLASS OUTING. AYE!

i made the blog bigger! i just thot that all that space on the right was being wasted, so i extended the blog to give ourselves more width to work with, and to decrease scrolling amount. yup. sounds so cheem rite? haha. seriously it wasnt easy. a lot of basic maths involved. and everyone knows how much i love maths.

the tagboard has also been made a little bit larger.

i also made banners for the blog links. u can find these under the 'links' section. DID ELAINE DELETE HER BLOG??? omg her banner was the hardest to make lah. cos she takes so little pictures!

The class of 1SD3-soon-to-be-2SD3 went to HOLLANDV!

Yes, 1sd3 decided to spend its 1st runner up voucher won at ACGames 06 at NYDC, after a fruitless last day at school where the majority ponned nearly every class, and the ever hardworking and guai guai minority STILL went to every class! I think people went to school that day just because of the Bio SPA. Kudos to the minority, hope you meet Tom Cruise, then can report to him...haha lame joke. WENHAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MEEEE?

Anyway, we met at the concourse at like about 6.40, argued about where to go..Suntec?Town? HollandV? Don't go? Hell?

We finally settled on HollandV, due to some unknown reason, but fortunately we reached a decision, ya?

Took bus to Holland V. The fellowship of SD3 for that outing is as follows: Hariz the PK, Danielle DENG XIAOPING, Archie, NACHAN, WENHAN, Kee AND Jessie, AARON, PRIS, Kelvin CHEN, Sexy Jeff, Chef CANDICE (geddit? chefs CAN dice...can dice ? hahaha.....WENHAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!)

We went to NYDC, and ordered one whole Cheesecake, one Priscilla's favourite, and two chocolate somethings. We then basically talked kok and played truth or dare, which caused Jessie to almost run away. Also, in the spirit of Brotherly Love and Passion, Jeff kissed Wenhan. Or Wenhan kissed Jeff. Whatever. The thing is: THEY KISSED! Canoeing and Track will be joined in hand and spirit. Or is that bed and spirit?

In the end, Hariz had to eat 4 cheesecakes!!! Ugh.

Then we went to Katong Laksa to...eat some more. Who cares about the Health Promotion Board? Fats are good for you. There we basically talked some more, when Pris called to say she was coming. We then headed to the Park near NTUC to talk more kok, do more kok things and....

PLAY TRUTH OR DARE and HAVE YOU EVER..??

But we didn't get very far in those games. We talked about baseball and our experiences with it, about how we played baseball or watched it or never even seen or played it. We also talked about cats, and how we have this strange.....PASSION...for them. Yes, a very strange and destructive passion. We also talked about bioconservation and how arctic animals are being displaced, and how this could be prevented, if only the animals cooperated.

Then....for the grand finale.....we went home!

SOMETIMES, PPL HAVE TO GO HOME. SOMETIMES.

Although it was a badly planned, lame, and lamer outing (just like this post, which makes you guys cool for reading it!), it was a great one! This is the first step to a greaat class spirit! I hope more outings would come! Especially after Haloweeen!!!

it was fright night! and we made a trip down to town, singapore's favourite shopping haunt(talk about our very own elm's street). some of us dressed up!

we cabbed back to kelvin chen's place. our wonderful cab driver volunteered to take us for a detour round the cemetry behind kelvin's place, but knowing that it was just a cunning ploy to upp our taxi fare, we said NO. nah. we were just scared shit. jeff was spooked and totally yelped when someone smacked the window on his side. sigh. dress in karate gear somemore. what an irony huh. anyway. we ordered coke. yes. how silly. calling for macdonald's delivery and ordering coke. sigh. we watched The EYE . it wasn't that scary after all haha.

anyway.

SENTOSA!!!!

3/3/06 saw a bright and nice morning. Well, to some it was not that all bright while for others, it was brighter than usual. As some smart ones might have guessed, it was the day of our school posting, and hence tension and excitement felt the air. All O'level graduates sat in front of the com praying to get into the instituion of their choice. Well for 1SD3, it was no exception as well.

Anyway, Ting(square) had planned to go to sentosa on this very day taking the golden opportunity of it being an ACJC made holiday. So, at about 1 we met at harbourfront MRT station and headed down to Pulau Blakang Mati(sentosa). We took an island bus to Palawan Beach, only to realise tt it was filled with bikini sun tanning babes. So, it was off to siloso beach. After walking about 400 meters, we were there!!!

The outing proved to be fun as some AC FMSS were there.. So, we played ultimate frisebee, soccer, went sun tanning and swimming. By the time the sunset, we were dead tired. So we went to Seah Imm food centre to have dinner.

Class Outing at Cathay Cineleisure!

Hey guys! Sorry for the late update! But better late than never rite? :)

Anyway, we started off the First of March in school with our Founders Day celebrations. everyone was dressed in the college uniform!

I can't exactly remember what happened during the celebrations. but i know that there was alot of singing and lots of awards being given out. In summary, it was freaking BORING! This teacher was going around telling girls to take off their earings. haha. it was so funny cos it was like she memorised some lines and she was repeating it to every girl that did not have 'simple ear studs' on. she sounded like some machine, repeating the same thing over and over again. lol. Me and Ivana were so bored, that we played bingo on the programme sheet. This was what the rest were doing:

Anyway, at the end of the celebrations, we each had free coke lime! and so we left for orchard. There were ten of us there: Me, Ting2, Andrea, James, Boon Goon, Swee Geok, Ivana, Wilson, Shaoping and Heng Bin.

And, yes, we arrive at Orchard MRT station. Yeah, i know that we should have gotten off at Somerset, but we were too hesitant and we missed the stop.

When we got to Orchard Mrt station, Ivana left for some job interview at Shaw House, while Heng Bin went to Bibi & Baba to get his uniform changed. The rest of us trekked towards Cathay Cineleisure, and took the lift to the 4th floor to get tickets.

Unfortunately, we weren't sure of the number of tickets to buy, cos boon goon had to go meet a friend, and ivana wasn't answering her phone. eventually, we decided to have lunch at pastamania first.

eventually, boon goon left to meet her friend, and ivana came to join us. so there were 9 of us watching Final Destination 3. The theatre was so cool! it was on the 9th floor. a really small theatre, but the seats were nice. the movie was not bad. very gross and had a bad ending, in my opinion. i never really liked movies without a good resolution. in the movie, everybody died in the end. and as usual, swee geok was screaming her head off (omg bringing back gory flashbacks from movie). she screamed everytime somebody died. me, andrea and james were hugging our bags during the movie. partly cos the theatre was so cold.

After the movie, we went to sit at the the tables at the food court in the basement, playing games such as black magic and fuzzy wuzzy. some of the games were so lame. Swee Geok found the patterns especially hard to grasp. lol. anw, all in all, it was a good day. haha. ok i'm too lazy and sian to type anymore. see u guys soon!

Ok. Our class blog has gone through a bit of a revamp, with help from my best friend. Btw, he's 'kink', the mysterious guy tagging on our tagboard. lol.

As you can see, the body of the blog is now wider, allowing for easier viewing and less scrolling. Javascript was also used. You guys probably saw that message when u came to this site right? haha. o and btw, right-clicking is now disabled. haha. i dunno why i put that in though...

and yes, for those of u who do not know, i'm an animal-lover. which is why i support anti-animal-cruelty organisations such as the SPCA. which is in turn the reason why u will find SPCA banners on our 'links' and 'etc' sections. o and btw, do NOT click on that button in the 'etc' section. ;)

Heys 1SD3!

While all of you were in the physics lab doing your "Fun o rama reflections" on pretty coloured paper, this was what was happening down in the Hub...

The HOD of maths was at my table... My first thought was: Goodness, math of all subjects! Not that it mattered because the discussion was not ABOUT math but i have a math paranoia... Yes i used to have this biological equation that amounted to something like: A math=Headache.

Anyway, we began by telling him about our lives at ACJC and how we were adapting and voicing problems that we or our class had... I mentioned about the "too long breaks" and the "too short breaks" and some other people added in concerns of the "absence of breaks". There was also talk about "too little lectures" and "too little tutorials" which I found strange as I always believed that people would prefer freedom to imprisonment within a cold and dreary LT or a boiling hot and "sian" classroom. Anyway, Man has apparently evolved to become torture-loving...

The discussion was also punctuated with awkward silences...No surprise there because a wrong statement (as believed and agreed on by all students at the table without the knowledge of the HOD) could easily result in the presentation of something "wonderful" such as Detention Class or Demerit Points... So we all Decided to be Discreet in our very Demanding Discussion in order to Deter our Destiny away from Detention and Demerits...

Apparently in doing so we earned ourselves a broken recording of:

"We understand your concerns, but you must realise that there is much hard work done that is unseen by you and thus, you should try your best to work independently to adapt to the circumstances given to you as university would demand much of you in this aspect. So see this as a good preparation for you to be flexible in your ways that would aid you in university life in the future"

It left many of us pondering on our physical location and purpose at that point of time... Since we were going to get the same reply for each concern we voiced, the statement above might as well have been announced to the whole school... Oh well...

Class Outing at Plaza Singapura!

ok we had lots of fun today at plaza sing. watched the fog. it was ok la. then we went over to my place. yup but i'm too tired and busy to post now. so i shall leave it like this till tmr! sorry! haha. lots of pics promised. keep watching this space!

ohman kelvin! what do u mean by the fog was ok. it was not ok. the fog seriously aint worth my money. ahh. the movie has no plot no climax and no conclusion. and it wasnt scary at all. hahaha.

now let me begin our little adventure to plaza sing!

we went to long john silvers to have lunch and we used 10 coupons to buy the breakfast set and whatever that was available. there were only 12people (editha, irma, sweegeok, kelvin, jeffrey, ivana, shaoping, yilun, andrea, james, irving and me). half of the class! kinda miss the rest of the people. well at least i did. yep and i got bored while the rest were queuing for food. so i played the chopstick hand game with editha and sweegeok. editha played a diff version. both of us decided to ostracise her and play by ourselves! it was rather amusing to see sweegeok with a sulken face when she lost both rounds against editha n me. =DD

sadly,we hafta split n sit in grps of four or five coz the tables in ljs were disjointed. andrea was busy extracting out her mayo and tomatoes from her sandwich. james was like, "you are operating your food?" by the end of it all, we got to know that andrea dislike tomatoes n carrots & james's anti-brinjals. haha and guess wad. the whole table shook when irving's cutting up his fish. use ur hands man. that was my suggestion. he ignored my words of wisdom! haha but he still heed my advice in the end coz he's got no choice. the flimsy plastic knife was of no help.

At 12.05pm we parted wif james who had something on. the remaining 11 of us went to watch THE FOG. sooo exciting! irma and editha didnt want to watch. haha. but swee geok the siao zar bor was so enthu abt it. a few minutes after we got in, kelvin scared swee geok by leaning forward n stucking his spastic face right beside her. AaHHhhhhhh!!! the whole theatre heard swee geok's angonising scream. now we all know how terrorising kelvin is. =))) lol ivana almost hugged me during the movie when someone who was suppose to be dead came alive. and as i have said: the fog seriously aint worth my money. the movie has no plot, no climax and no conclusion. yep. the movie ended with swee geok's scream once again(editha poked her from the side).

for the rest of the day i cant recall anything much. haahaa. i rmb feeling super extremely damn tired. n we played a few games of jenga. editha was the stressest of all. shes so cute. ohh newaes kelvin's got 3 dogs. 2 huskies n one x-breed. the x-breed's very old n fragile. i felt so sorry for him. he's having difficulties walking. must take gd care of him man. the way u care for an elderly.

Fun-O-Rama!

Our day began with us setting up both our stalls and preparing for the day ahead. We wore orange bands that read '1SD3' to differentiate our special selves from the rest of the world. haha. ok nvm ignore that.

did u guys see our mascots? haha. a creative idea by dorance. if i'm not wrong, it's swee geok and dorance under those masks.

Our games stall did ok. there were little to no people at our stall at first, but as the day progressed, business picked up! Our food stall, on the other hand, was doing extremely well! Within the first hour, over 20 packets of nasi lemak was sold! in fact, we kept running out of food, and more had to be prepared.

Yes, that IS something to smile about. :)

The weather today was great. we started off with a clear day, although by noon it was blazing hot. thankfully, around 4 plus, it stared to pour. literally. the rain was seriously uber heavy. i was at acsi at that time with some friends, and had to borrow a poncho from the scouts den in order to make it back to school.

As u can see, the poncho didn't work that well in the strong rain. You know, the rain was so heavy, the water was ankle high at certain parts of dover road! i know cos i had to walk from acsi to acjc in the rain, with the poncho of course. :)

Although it was raining cats and dogs, our spirits were not dampened. we had a few customers at our games stall who played our game non-stop for about 15-20 minutes! in fact, our grand prize (BIG teddy bear) was won during that period of time. Our food stall, which was thankfully under the shade in the void deck, kept selling our food.

In all, Fun-O-Rama was an unforgettable experience. Although there was much work involved in the planning and preparing for the big event, we enjoyed ourselves along the way. Thanks to everyone for giving their all for fun-o-rama! see u guys soon!

haha! one day to fun-o-rama!

no lessons at all today. just purely preparation work for tomorrow's day of fun! we started the day with coupons collection (wonder how much we collected as a class...). then we proceeded to set up both our stalls.

Think that was all the work our class did today? Guess again. While half of the class was busy preparing the stalls for the big day, the other half was preparing nasi lemak, which we will be selling tmr! Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures to show u all the hard work that was put into bringing u your delicious nasi lemak. haha.

Hey it's not like we didn't try to get any pics. Shawn's place was already filled with people! Me and Ivana had to go over to Shawn's home to get his coupon sales money from him, and we wanted to take some pictures at the same time. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to take any pics cos we met up with Shawn at Lakeside MRT station.

You can imagine how bored we were on the way to and from Lakeside MRT station (see Ivana stoning?). haha.

That's our senior class's game stall. in this game, u have to use some sort of a see-saw as a 'catapult' to launch rubber duckies into this bathing pool. our seniors were nice enough to let me, andrea, joshua and ivana try their game.

we can all thank irving for taking the initiative in setting this up. yep.

sorry if the skin doesn't really go with the purpose of the site, but it seriously was the best i could find.

anyway, the skin will most probably be temporary. until a new skin can be made. hopefully using class pics or sumthing liddat.
